Day 39 - WOW!!

I've done alright the past few days, nothing earth-shattering, but I've been losing a few tenths of a pound each day. Then yesterday the scale showed a 1.5 lb drop. I was very pleased. Then this morning, it showed a drop of 2 whole pounds!!! This puts me within 7.7 lbs of my original goal for this round, which was to lose 35 lbs. I had resigned myself to only losing about 25 lbs, because I had had some stalls and the weight loss has slowed down, all of which are normal parts of the process. I never expected big drops like this at this stage of the protocol! I am more than happy with this product, with the protocol, and with the support offered along the way. I decided to sign up as an affiliate for the referral program that the company has, because I can even order my next round from my own link and still earn the commission off of it. (Built in discount! lol) I'll post it here so if anyone else wants to find out more or order, you are welcome to, but this isn't a business venture for me, just me sharing my results and my excitement about this great way to take back control of my weight and my life!

Day 35 - Almost there...

Whew! Time flies when you are having fun, eh? Well, in the last 12 days since I last posted I have lost 4 more lbs. I was almost an entire week stalled on the same weight, but according to the support materials, a lot of times that is when the body take time to tighten and repair, or in other words, to shrink those fat cells and lose inches instead of lbs. I haven't measured lately to see if that is the case, but I'll have hubby measure me tomorrow. I'm down to 273.7, which is a total loss of 24.3 lbs in the last month! I had set my goal to lose 35 lbs in the 42 days of protocol, but even if I end up losing only 30 (or even 25!) I will still consider this program to be a resounding success! I'll definitely be doing another round in about 7 wks!

Day 23 - A Slight Stall...

I'm not sure why, because I didn't cheat at all yesterday that I can think of, but today I didn't lose, I gained 0.1 instead. Not a big deal, I'm thinking maybe I didn't get enough water yesterday? Yesterday I was 277.6, today 277.7. I hope that tomorrow will be back on the down slope. :)

Day 17 - Made it through the weekend!

Made it through the weekend!  I didn't have any major breakdowns or cheats. I did have one day where I ate a whole grapefruit for snack instead of 1/2, but I didn't have my veggie with my dinner that day, so it didn't cause me any problems. My weigh in this morning was 281.2. I'm getting really close to the 20 lb loss mark, especially if you count from my Loading high weight of 299.5. I'm really liking this program so far. I can't say my menu's are super exciting, but for the results I'm getting, I consider it a fair trade!

Day 13 - Back on track!

This week has been going very well. I resisted some major temptation several times, and have not been hungry at all! That pizza smelled divine, but I resisted and didn't even take a taste. I know that if I indulge in one bite, it will be that much harder to stop. Like the old drug slogans said, "Be Smart, Don't Start!" ;-)  I am a recovering food addict! I AM looking forward to the time when I can eat my favorite foods in moderation again, but for now, I'm keeping my eye on the prize, and I've lost over 12 lbs, which does wonders for my motivation and willpower!

Day 10 - not too bad, all things considered...

Wow, the last week has flown by! I did REALLY well all week, and then came Sunday. We were invited over to the Branch President's house for lunch after church, along with what seemed like half of the branch. It was really only 2 other families, but there were a lot of us! I had actually thought ahead, and packed my own lunch, which I put in the fridge at church until the meetings were over, and then promptly forgot. Now, being in KY, our church building is not on the corner... it's 1/2 an hour away. Admittedly, it is only about 10 minutes from the BP's house, but my husband was hungry and vetoed my idea of going to get it, so I walked into the house and figured I'd take whatever I could get. The food that Sister Kelly made was very good, a wonderful soup with sliced polish sausage and all sorts of beans, sandwich makings, and fruit. I ate. I didn't stuff myself, but I didn't pick, either. It was good food and good company, and I enjoyed both. I lost 3 days worth of progress on the protocol, but I figure it was a fair exchange.

I have also plugged my numbers in to my graph at Fridge Graph, which you can see here. I plan to keep the graph updated because I guess I'm a visual person, I love to see that loss represented on that graph, especially if I can keep it under the gray "goal" line.

Here is to another great week, and NOT going to anyone's house to eat this weekend! ;)
